Happy Spring!

Happy Spring Everyone!! I could start out this post by saying just how bad my back was killing me, but I won't. I could tell you I was done with Census Canvassing and elaborate on my discoveries of a county I thought I knew, but I won't. Today I want to say Happy Spring. The sun is shining, the breeze is wonderful. The puppies are full of lovin licks and things are blooming. Below is a close-up pic I got of a Paulownia Tree blooming down by the river. Did you know in Japan, it was customary to plant a Paulownia when a daughter was born and to use it to make her a dresser when she was to be married? I love Wikipedia!!

I also didn't realize how fragrant they were. Even standing just feet away from the bog they call the canal, I was graced by the pleasant aroma of a blooming Princess Tree.

Enjoy.... I'm going to go throw myself down a flight of stairs. Maybe if my back was broken it wouldn't hurt as bad as it does now. Later!!!
